Simple. White, black. Boring, normal, nameless. Faceless, useless. Not worth a word. Not worth a thought. Chose to be this way, all that you see is what it is, who I am. Inside, a storm, over and over, never to stop for more than a breath. Anger and desperation hidden by tired eyes and a push away, rapture cloaked with a distracted glance and mumbled excuses, lies. Living on a swing, on a rollercoaster. As an abandoned ball on the court, falling low only to rebound. Its up, but below the height it started at. Each bounce, each day brings this closer to the end. The lows, lower; the highs, less frequent. But does it want to stay on the ground? Playing the game is tough, confusing, demanding. To play means to pick a team, but it fails them. They are displeased. Nothing is spoken, but it takes that as truth. Fight? Its easier to just stop bouncing, to give in, to sleep.
Right? Im sorry. ~ |
